Heart Shaped Pavlova
Honestly, I am not much of a dessert person. I prefer salty vs. sweet. Now, this pavlova is SWEET! But…. it is also super delicious! What I love about it, is how the fruit and the whipped cream really cut the sweetness of the meringue for the perfect bite.
There are a few steps to creating a delicious pavlova, but they are all super easy. I found the easiest meringue recipe on @thekitchn which tells you step by step how to make the prefect meringue. For a traditional pavlova, you can just spread the entire meringue on a pieces of parchment and bake like that. I decided to be a little fancier and make a pavlova board, including smaller individual size meringues. I have done both ways and both look super impressive and taste even better.
Follow my steps to making the perfect pavlova and you will have yourself an epic dessert worth gossiping about!

3. In a mixer with the whisk paddle, place all the ingredients for the whipped cream. Beat on medium-high until thick. Set aside.
4. To assemble the pavlova, place the whipped cream on top of the meringue. Pour the berry sauce on top. Garnish with mint and shaved chocolate. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
** Note: You can also make this pavlova board by making mini meringues, different berry sauces and garnishes and placing all the assembled toppings separately on a tray, allowing your guests to make their own and choose their own flavours! How fun!
