Yiddish Valentine's Day Cookies

I know Valentine’s Day is not typically a Jewish holiday, but a day of love always has me swooning. I know it is important to share the love every, single, day, but I can’t help myself… I always love an excuse to celebrate something!

I came across these ‘Valenstein’ cookies by @dirasdelights on Instagram. They were adorable Jewish sayings on heart shaped cookies. I thought, I want in on this action, but I am going to put a Yiddish spin on this- you know, got to try and be original…. even while being inspired.

So here they are in all their glory. My husband helped me with some of the sayings and a few didn’t make the cut, but overall I think these Yiddish valentines will have any Bubbie or yenta gossiping!
