Vitamin C Smoothie
Well, we have been hit with COVID-19 here in Toronto and it is super scary. I am staying in my home in isolation. The positive is that I get to spend more time with my family and create more content for you.
With the paranoia of getting sick, I decided to make this Vitamin C Smoothie. I researched fruits high in vitamin c to add to this recipe. Fun fact, pineapple has the highest amount of vitamin c, even more than oranges.
Give this smoothie a try, hopefully it will keep you safe and healthy and that is worth gossiping about!
Vitamin C Smoothie
Yield: 4 smoothies
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 orange, peeled and cut
1 small container vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water, if needed to thin out
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients into a blender, excluding the water.
2. Blend together on high, adding water if you need it to thin out smoothie.
3. Enjoy!
