Latkes with Lox Cream Cheese and Chives

The next latke I featured was with a lox cream cheese topping. I prefer the Philadelphia brand, as their lox cream cheese is smooth. Alternatively you could use one with lox pieces in the actual cream cheese or use plain cream cheese and add a small piece of lox on top.

I used a piping bag to make it look extra fancy and some microgreens as well. Small details like this will elevate your dish. I piped out the cream cheese, sprinkled with a little bit of crumbled feta and chives.

The contrasting colours look beautiful on a board and would make a brunch dish worth gossiping about!

Latkes with Lox Cream Cheese and Chives

Yield: 20 latkes

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup lox cream cheese
2 tbsp chives, chopped
2 tbsp feta, crumbled
1 tbsp microgreens (optional)
20 classic latkes

DIRECTIONS:
1. Make my classic latke recipe and set latke aside until they slightly cool. Recipe is here:

2. On a serviong board, lay latkes down flat.
3. Using a piping bag, squeeze out a tsp of cream cheese on each latke.
4. Sprinkle with chives, feta and microgreens. Enjoy!
