Green Goddess Salad
With the holidays quickly approaching, I have been baking and eating not so healthy food. This salad is the perfect compliment to all those fatty holiday foods. Have it for lunch, add some salmon for a light weeknight dinner or place it on your holiday brunch table and have your guests compliment you!
This recipe was slightly adapted from my friend Ruthy. We went over to her house to for a pre-hanukkah cerebration and she served this salad. I ate 3 plate fulls. It was so yummy and the secret ingredient is crunched up sour cream and onion crackers. Any brand will do- we used the kosher brand Beigel Beigel but you can use Crispers or Ritz ones as well- just make sure to crunch them up really small!
The second secret is in the dressing. We used a store-bought green goddess dressing by Fresh Dress. It’s a great option because its gluten and dairy free and kosher! Just start off light on the dressing as it is rather strong, you can always add more as you go!
Grab all your favourite green vegetables and whip up this easy salad worth gossiping about!
