No Churn Chocolate and Toffee Chip Ice Cream
Get used to this recipe, because I have hopped onto the homemade ice cream train and I am never getting off! I am so excited to create so many flavours, ALL. SUMMER. LONG!
Today I decided to make a flavour my kids would enjoy. Simple vanilla ice cream with mini chocolate chips and toffee bits, how can you go wrong?
Grab that whipping cream and condensed milk people because this no churn ice cream trend is worth gossiping about!
No Churn Chocolate and Toffee Chip Ice Cream
Yield: 8-10 servings
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups whipping cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
Mini chocolate chips, measure with love
Toffee bits, measure with love
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place the 2 cups of cold whipping cream into a stand mixer with the whisk attachment.
2. Start to whisk the cream on medium high speed.
3. When the cream starts to bubble and thicken, very slowly drizzle in the sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated.
4. Add in vanilla.
5. Allow cream to whip until it thickens and holds shape on the whisk when removed.
6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits.
7. Pour into loaf pan, and freeze overnight. Enjoy!
