Cheesy Pasta Bake
The best meals are ones that can be prepared in advance and enjoyed all week long. This my friends, is that meal.
The perfect cheesy pasta with your favourite jarred marinara is so easy to assemble and will give you time to focus on more important things all week, because it’s the meal that keeps on feeding.
Pasta, assorted cheeses, marinara and some herbs- that’s it! You are few ingredients away from having a pasta bake worth gossiping about!
Cheesy Pasta Bake
Yield: 8-10 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 box fusilli pasta
1 jar marinara
1/2 cup shredded mozarella
1 ball soft mozarella, sliced
1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup parmesan, grated
Fresh herbs, for garnish (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large pot, boil the pasta until al dente. Drain out water and place back in pot.
2. Add in sauce and mozzarella cheeses and goat cheese, reserving some of the balled mozzarella slices, goat cheese crumbles, and grated parmesan for the top.
3. Place in a large Pyrex or baking tray. Sprinkle with the reserved cheeses.
4. Bake, covered at 350-degrees for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
